£5200 Raised For Eid Gift Appeal!
We’d like to thank our amazing children, parents/carers and staff for raising an astonishing £5,200 (and counting!) for our Eid Gift Appeal. The money will go towards our sister organisation Shine Charity who are aiming to raise £100,000 to help 10,000 children smile this Eid. There are many children around the world who do not have the means to celebrate Eid. Providing these children with Eid gifts will fill their lives with joy and happiness. The money will go towards children particularly affected by poverty or war in Bangladesh, India, Malawi, Sierra Leone and Pakistan.
From the inception of the school in September 2013 to date, the children at the Olive School Hackney have raised over £30,000 for various charitable causes. Community service forms an integral part of our inclusive ethos. Please continue to donate generously and thank you for your support!
