Muslim and Jewish Children Learn Together

We’d like to thank staff and children at Simon Marks Jewish Primary School for their very warm hospitality in hosting our Year 3 class Ibn Sa’d as part of our 3 Faiths Forum initiative. This was our third day of joint learning and the children explored the theme ‘where do we live and how do we live together.’ Our children also had the opportunity to talk about their experiences of Ramadhan and listen to Simon Marks’ children talking about Passover. There was lots of positive interaction and lunch presented a good opportunity to discuss food in both faiths as well as facilitate lots of fun play! The Olive School Hackney is committed to promoting positive values of tolerance and respect as part of our inclusive faith ethos. See more photos of our 3 Faiths Forum project here.
