New Building

We are very pleased to announce the long awaited opening of our new building on Lower Clapton Road, Hackney on Mon 2nd November 2020.

Designed by AHR Architects and built by Wates Construction, the new school building comprises the refurbishment of the Grade ll listed former Hackney Police Station building and a new build teaching block and hall. The facade of the police station remains largely unchanged but internally, the spaces have been structurally altered to create usable teaching spaces.

The new build three storey teaching block is a steel frame construction and provides 9 classrooms, along with a double height hall and servery. The new block links to the existing structure with walkways and a lift and stair core.

Additionally, a residence adjoining the site on St Johns Church Road has been converted to school administration offices.
